What does OfferStride actually do?
It is a working macOS interview companion with user-triggered screenshot analysis, live transcription, translation, structured answers, a movable focus overlay, session history, and Markdown export.
Which Mac and permissions are required?
OfferStride targets macOS 15 or later. Screenshot analysis requires Screen Recording permission; transcription requires microphone and speech permissions. The app shows a readiness checklist before use.
Which AI providers can I use?
Choose a signed-in Codex subscription, your own OpenAI key, your own OpenRouter key, a hosted HTTP endpoint, or the deterministic offline demo provider.
Does it record or run secretly?
No. Capture and analysis are explicitly user-triggered, and the focus overlay remains visible and controllable. The app intentionally excludes stealth behavior, hidden recording, monitoring bypass, and anti-detection features.
